International Foundation Studies is aimed at international students wishing to start one of our university's full-time undergraduate courses, or to improve their English language and cultural awareness.

This course consists of four main areas - English language, study and academic skills, cultural awareness and, for some students, a specialist subject related to their chosen undergraduate degree.

The skills you learn and develop through this course will help you to be more successful on your chosen undergraduate programme. You will also become aware of the expectations and requirements of studying in the UK.
