About Your Course
This course develops the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to promote and protect public health and wellbeing. Focusing on the social determinants of health, you will be equipped to fulfil a variety of roles in health promotion and public health, working in local authorities, health services or the voluntary sector.

There is a focus on how people and communities can empower themselves to improve their health, and how public policy can create healthier societies and places.
