About Your Course
Changing the way organisations work by helping to shape their future direction and success can be one of the most rewarding and exciting of careers. Projects are about delivering beneficial change through new initiatives, product developments, service improvements which are largely intangible, as well as projects that produce the physical world around us - buildings, roads and the like.
Project managers are therefore at the forefront of leading change in a diverse range of organisations, from charities and local government, to banks, aerospace, construction, retail and the wider commercial sector. Successfully running since 1998, this well established course is designed to attract practising project managers, from the UK and worldwide, across a diverse range of backgrounds and sectors.
The course is accredited by the Association of Project Managers (APM). We maintain and encourage close links with the APM and a wide spectrum of organisations engaged in projects, which informs much of the course teaching.

Dissertation
A detailed study and analysis of a specific area of project management, driven by particular interests of the student, with tutor support.
Project Development
Building on the Project Management module, the focus is on investigating the methodological frameworks and processes involved in project definition and planning.
Project Management
Examines the key elements of project management tools and techniques, and establishes the project framework, which is built on as the course progresses.
Project Management Futures
Investigates the current and future direction and application of project management across sectors and internationally.
Projects in a Business Environment.
Explores the economic and organisational context within which projects take place, and addresses where projects come from and how they are selected and prioritised.

Part-time
Part-time, year one typically £63.90 per credit-point
The total cost of a Part-time course is determined by the number of modules you take in an academic year. Modules are made up of credit-points, and Part-time fees are typically quoted as fee-per-credit-point.
To calculate the typical cost of study: Fee-per-credit-point (e.g £63.90) x credit-points per module (e.g20) = module cost of £1278. If you study 4 modules in a year the cost would be £5112 for that year.

Equivalent or Lower Qualification (ELQ) Students
Higher fees apply for ELQ students. You may be an ELQ student if you already have a BA/BSc and want to enrol on another
Bachelors level course; if you already have an MA/MSc and want to enrol on a Bachelors level course OR if you already
have an MA/MSc and want to enrol on another taught Masters level course.
